HUGE Announcement! Literally!

I am thrilled to now be able to announce that I've been selected for the Arts Council of Greater Lansing's 2023 "Art in the Sky" Billboard Project!

Honored to be showcased among these amazing regional artists: Julian Van Dyke, Laura Gajewski, Elyse Gambino, James Hays, and Dennis Preston. They are all so talented and inspiring!

Each artist will be featured on digital billboards throughout the region for two months (beginning with Elyse Gambino who you should be able to see now!) and for a two week period in January you will be able to see all 6 billboards rotating throughout the area.

My billboard will be visible during June and July and will feature my mixed-media painting, 'The Invitation', which was inspired by Fenner Nature Center!

Thank you so much to the Arts Council and Adams Outdoor for making this happen. It's such a cool project and incredible opportunity.

You can purchase your limited edition print of The Invitation here.

The Arts Council of Greater Lansing recently interviewed the lovely, Kate Snyder of Piper & Gold Public Relations about the firm’s experiences with local Arts Night Out events. So delighted to be mentioned!

Kate has been one of my number one cheerleaders since day one of my career as an artist. In fact, she and Piper & Gold gave me my day one! Today is the 4 year anniversary of my first Arts Night Out with them, and my first event publicly showing up as an artist and selling my work. Seems like a lifetime ago!

Creative Placemaking Summit 6

I’m so honored to have been invited to provide a live interactive art-making experience throughout the virtual Creative Placemaking Summit 6. From very beginning stages to framed artwork, this mixed-media painting was created live on camera over the course of about 4 hours. Connecting virtually with a bunch of amazing people during the creation process was such an inspiration. Stay tuned for details from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing on the future of this artwork. Now, I present "I Am Lansing" (Title taken, in part from the text in the background, of course! Treasure hunt!)
